St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Our congregation of approximately 200 communicants includes many long-term members, several generations of families some of whom have been members since birth, new Episcopalians and Christians.

The St. Andrew’s family is comprised of people with a strong sense of spirituality, caring and belonging, as well as a great commitment to serving one another, the parish and Jesus Christ.  At the same time, we recognize our need to reach out to new members, increase a sense of fellowship, and involve our members more actively and completely in the life of the parish and in leadership roles.

Tradition is important to our parish community while we dare to try new things.  In 1999, we joined with the Church of the Redeemer in Hyde Park to express our love of God and to seek Him more fully.  Through our combined efforts, the FIRST ever diocesan-wide six-day Episcopal Revival was held for more than 1,500.  It truly was an amazing sight to see a large red-and-white striped tent filled to the brim with strangers who quickly became friends.  And, our friendship continues with Redeemer – in fellowship, music and hopefully to our community.

We are truly blessed to have active organizations, a growing Sunday School, and a strong musical program for which we are well-known throughout the Diocese of Southern Ohio.  The Chancel Choir and the Gospel Choir are strongly committed to their ministry of music. Through our worship, music, outreach, education, and love for one another, we manage, by the grace of God, to preserve the most important tradition of all: to be a community with a mission to celebrate, proclaim and share the love of Jesus Christ.”
